Inspiring Movie Posters

CD Covers

Michael Place

I love the geometric architectural qualities of his design. They are loud and bold, yay!

erik spiekermann

What makes his designs stand out, are the use of pure pigments of primary colors, which is affective and eye catching.

James Montgomery Flagg

This artist deals with issues of war and post war; I really like the
political statements in his designs.

Paul Rand Mascot

This was designed for Stafford Fabrics. What draws attention is that the design is self explanatory.

Paul Rand Logo

I like the use of symbolic imagery and color, I find this style efficient yet very effective. This was designed for a Norwalk Cancer Center.

Saul Bass Movie Poster

The most interesting thing in Saul Bass movie posters is the simplistic quality of the designs. They are minimal in colors and shapes which made them outstanding in the world of poster design to begin with.
